Vastu Shastra often outlines several guidelines regarding the main entrance of the house, including the practice of writing a name on the door or placing a nameplate with a name. In fact, many of us inscribe our names on the main door or adorn it with a nameplate. However, according to Vastu Shastra, it is not a healthy practice. Astrologer Radhakant Vats shared whether it is healthy to write your nameplate or not.
Why We Should Not Write Name At Home Main Door?
According to Vastu Shastra, positive and negative energy circulates around the house. In such a situation, when we write our name, the negative energy entering the house definitely troubles us, whereas the positive energy entering the house deviates in the east direction of the house.
It is also believed that writing names outside the house or hanging name plates increases Vastu defects in the house. This happens because some planet or the other resides in every place in the house. At the same time, the place outside the house is on Rahu planet which is considered a sinful planet.
