Pooja Room Vastu:Tips For Keeping Ancestors' Pictures
“According to Vastu Shastra, pictures of ancestors should not be kept in the temple of the house. This makes the gods and goddesses angry,” said astrologer Vats. It is said to be a wrongful practice to place the ancestors’ pictures with the gods and goddesses’ idols.
Jyotishcharya Radhakant said, “Installing the ancestors’ pictures in the temple at your home may be construed as considering them equal to gods and goddesses and placing them at par with them. This is not a good practice as per astrology. “Apart from this, keeping the pictures of ancestors in your home temple not only causes Vastu Dosh but also increases negative energy,” he added. Astrologer Vats mentioned that doing so can also cause Pitru Dosh in your home and make your ancestors angry with everyone living in your home.
“Keeping pictures of ancestors in the home temple brings misfortunes in the house and the planets start weakening,” said Radhakant.
