- “Establishing Ram Darbar in the house on Dussehra is also considered auspicious. This also helps in getting the spoiled work done and removes the planetary defects,” said astrologer Vats.
- “On this day, take seven cloves, seven camphor and five bay leaves, burn them, and then spread the smoke in the house to get rid of the adverse effects of the evil eye,” said the astrologer.

- “On the day of Dussehra, if the husband and wife donate coconut, it can also be fruitful. Wrap a coconut in a yellow cloth and offer it in the Ram temple along with a pair of sacred thread, betel leaves and sweets.
