The gemstones are believed to have a mystical connection with zodiac signs and their destinies. We got in touch with our expert, Deviprasad Mishra, a Vedic Astrologer, to understand which gemstones work better for those born with the Sagittarius sun sign and which ones should they avoid. Let us learn about them in detail in this article.
Mishra Ji said, “Jupiter rules Sagittarius and Pisces, but it tends to be more influential in Sagittarius, its primary trine sign. Associated with the fire element, Sagittarius drives individuals toward intense knowledge-seeking experiences and independence. People influenced by Jupiter often attract attention and, with faith and spiritual practice, can significantly transform their lives. However, while they are highly dedicated to their work, they may struggle with managing family responsibilities.”
Gemstones For Sagittarius Sun Sign
“Jupiter, the ruling planet of Sagittarius, is associated with the Yellow Sapphire (Pukhraj) gemstone. When Jupiter's influence is prominent in a person's horoscope, this gemstone should be set in gold and worn on the index finger on a Thursday morning at sunrise, accompanied by chanting the mantra ‘Om Brim Brihaspataye Namah’ 108 times,” said Vedic astrologer Deviprasad.
It is said that if the Sagittarius natives wear the yellow sapphire gemstone, it helps them attract increased happiness and prosperity into their lives, boost wealth and reputation, and enhance their health, wisdom and intellect.
“Additionally, if Jupiter forms the Gajakesari Yoga in conjunction with the Moon, Yellow Pearl (Moti) has been observed to yield very positive results, sometimes even more so than Yellow Sapphire. Coral, the gemstone of Mars, can also be worn alongside Yellow Sapphire, or Ruby, the gemstone of the Sun, can be set in copper and worn on the ring finger to further amplify Jupiter's strength,” added Mishra Ji.
Gemstones Sagittarius Natives Should Not Wear
Talking about the gemstones that the Sagittarius people should avoid, Deviprasad Ji said, “It is advised to never wear the Saturn stone (blue sapphire), Ketu stone (cat's eye), or Rahu stone (hessonite). While it's generally best to avoid stones of Mercury and Venus, there are exceptions. During Venus dasha, a young person may wear a diamond or opal. Similarly, a green emerald, the stone of Mercury, can be worn if Mercury is well-placed in favourable houses and it is Mercury's dasha; otherwise, this stone should also be avoided.”
